This is why now, more than ever, you should know what to do when you’re sick at home. Being equipped with the right must-haves and to-dos is a must. It will serve you well not only now but in all future situations. That being said, here are the seven most important things to do when you’re sick at home to get you through it as quickly as possible:

 

Stay Home and Isolate

We cannot stress enough how important it is to stay at home when you’re sick. Going out and visiting public areas will not only put you at risk but the others around you as well. During these times, the CDC highly recommends separating yourself from other people and staying at home. Take note that this does not include instances when you need to get medical care.

Plus, your body needs to recover properly. Taking on your responsibilities outside while you’re sick could aggravate your health problems even further. It is simply not worth the risk. It’s best to take a leave and stay at home until you are fully recovered.
